A friend

Today one of Iris' friends came to play with Iris early in the morning. Her mother and father were working, but for her as well as for Iris the school starts tomorrow.

Sometimes it's nice to be a clown

Iris decided to build a circus in her room...

Iris päätti rakentaa huoneeseensa sirkuksen.

You just need some rope and some fabrics. And of course a lot of imagination.

Iris wanted to be a clown so she painted her face with facecolors.

Iris halusi olla klovni, joten hän maalasi kasvonsa kasvoväreillä.

She also found an old first of May wig and put that on her head.

Hän löysi myös vanhan vappuperuukin ja laittoi sen päähänsä.

Mother´s job was to be an enthusiastic audience.

There were for example dance on the program.

Then mother had to start cooking and she couldn't be an audience anymore, so Iris went downstairs and asked the nice couple that live under us if she could show them a dance performance. The couple looked Iris' dance and even gave her a tip although it was not the attention. Still Iris was very happy about the 1,5 euros she earned.

Sitten äidin piti alkaa laittaa ruokaa eikä hän voinut olla enää yleisönä. Iris meni kysymään alakerran mukavilta naapureilta, saisiko hän esiintyä heille. Pariskunta katsoi Iriksen tanssiesityksen ja antoi hänelle tippiäkin, vaikka se ei ollut tarkoitus. Iris oli silti todella onnellinen ansaitsemastaan 1,5 eurosta.

Iris thought that it was so nice to be a clown that she played the same game following day, too.

Iriksen mielestä klovnina oleminen oli niin hauskaa, että hän leikki samaa leikkiä seuraavanakin päivänä.

A cottage on the balcony

We live in an apartmenthouse in the center of a small town. Iris loves to make cottages and huts in the countryside. Today we couldn't go to countryside and Iris was getting quite bored...

Asumme kerrostalossa pienen kaupungin keskustassa. Iris rakastaa majojen rakentelua kun olemme maalla. Tänään emme voineet lähteä maalla ja Iris oli kuolemassa tylsyyteen...

So she decided to build a cottage on the balcony. I helped her a bit.

Joten Iris päätti rakentaa majan parvekkeelle.
Autoin häntä hieman.

On the balcony it was nice to just lay down, eat Petz-candy and read books.

Parvekkeella oli ihanaa vain huilailla, syödä Petz-karkkeja ja lueskella.

Our cat, Sisu also wanted to spend some time in the new and interesting balcony cottage.

Kissamme Sisu halusi myös viettää aikaa uudessa ja mielenkiintoisessa parvekemajassa.

The sun was shining, but it was lovely to relax in the shadow of the cottage.

Aurinko paistoi, mutta majan varjossa oli mukavaa rentoutua.
