A friend

Today one of Iris' friends came to play with Iris early in the morning. Her mother and father were working, but for her as well as for Iris the school starts tomorrow.

Breakfast

It was a rainy Sunday morning and the weather outside looked very grey. Iris and mother decided to cheer up the day by making a nice breakfast. Iris had bought a SpongeBob sandwichmaker from the sale on Saturday. Mother doesn't like SpongeBob, but she had to admit that the sandwiches you could make with the sandwichmaker looked very funny.
Oli sateinen sunnuntaiaamu ja sää ulkona näytti harmaalta. Iris ja äiti päättivät piristää päivää tekemällä hienon aamupalan. Iris took the flower from the bedroom to the breakfast table, so that the table would look prettier.

Amusement park

One day on July Iris and mother and J. went to another town. There they went to a hotel. The view from the hotel room window was lovely. Iris thought the best thing in the hotel room was the bath tub. Next day Iris, mother and J. went to an amusement park. It was a rainy day, but it didn't matter. They had a lot of fun and they amused themselves the whole day.


Eräänä päivänä kesäkuussa Iris, äiti ja J. matkustivat toiseen kaupunkiin. Siellä he menivät hotelliin. Hotellihuoneen ikkunasta oli hieno näköala. A day in the town

Iris and mother went to town. At first they ate ice-cream in an ice-cream bar. Then they saw some nice shoes on the street in front of a shoe shop. Of course they had to go in. Iris bought some black slippers and mother bought high heels (as usual). From the art and craft shop Iris and mother bought some window wax colors. Then they got hungry and they went to a cafeteria wich is in a park. Iris played there and mother saw one of her friends. In the evening it was exciting to test the new colors. It was a nice day...

Iris ja äiti menivät kaupungille. Ensin he söivät jäätelöä jäätelöbaarissa. Sitten he näkivät hienoja kenkiä kadulla, kenkäkaupan edessä. Tottakai heidän piti mennä sisälle. Sometimes it's nice to be a clown

Iris decided to build a circus in her room...

Iris wanted to be a clown so she painted her face with facecolors.

Mother´s job was to be an enthusiastic audience.

There were for example dance on the program.

Then mother had to start cooking and she couldn't be an audience anymore, so Iris went downstairs and asked the nice couple that live under us if she could show them a dance performance. The couple looked Iris' dance and even gave her a tip although it was not the attention. Still Iris was very happy about the 1,5 euros she earned.
