First day in the school

During breakfast Iris was sooooo tired...
Aamupalalla Iris oli niiiiin väsynyt...
Iris said to mother "Do I have to go to the school?"
Iris sanoi äidille "Onko minun pakko mennä kouluun?"

On the schoolyard you could do some drawings.
Koulun pihalle sai piirtää.
Iris' first notebook. Mother decorated it with butterflies.
Iriksen ensimmäinen kouluvihko. Äiti koristeli sen perhosilla.
And a brand new ABC-book!!
Ja upouusi Aapinen!!
The first school day was nice. The first graders got new caps and a mug with flowers and big applodes when the older schoolers welcomed them. It was like a small party. Later on Iris can drink juice from the mug because every friday they get juice and sweetbuns in the school!
Ensimmäinen koulupäivä oli mukava. Ekaluokkalaiset saivat uudet lippalakit ja mukin, jossa oli kukkia ja isot aplodit, kun vanhemmat koululaiset toivottivat heidät tervetulleiksi. Oli kuin olisi ollut pienet juhlat. Myöhemmin Iris voi juoda mukista mehua, koska joka perjantai koulussa saa pullaa ja mehua!

The school starts soon

The school starts soon. Iris is going to go to the first grade.Iris and mother packed Iris schoolbag today. Iris is going to go to a school where they do a lot of arts and crafts, so she packed glue and scissors and new colorpens in her backpack. She also has some new rulers, rubbers,sharpeners and of course pens. The schoolbag is new, too. Iris and mother have bought it on June already :)

Koulu alkaa pian. Iris menee ensimmäiselle luokalle. Iris ja äiti pakkasivat Iriksen koulurepun tänään. Iris menee kouluun, jossa askarrellaan paljon ja tehdään kaikkea mahdollista luovaa, joten hän pakkasi myös liiman, sakset ja uudet puuvärit reppuun. Hänellä on myös uusia viivottimia, pyyhekumeja, terottimia ja tietenkin lyijykyniä. Reppukin on uusi. Sen Iris ja äiti ostivat jo kesäkuussa :)
