Iris and brother

Part 1 Summer 2010

Hello after a long time! Iris is growing up fast. Here are some pictures from summer 2010. We still enjoy making cottages inside :) Iris' brother loves them as well.

Hei pitkästä aikaa! Iris kasvaa hurjaa vauhtia. Tässä on muutamia kuvia edelliskesältä. Majojen tekeminen sisälle on edellen hitti :) Iriksen velikin pitää niistä.

The last pic is from our trip to Tampere. Iris and brother are playing in hotel's playroom. We were in Hotel Victoria.
Viimeinen kuva on Tampereen matkasta. Iris ja veli leikkivät hotellin leikkihuoneessa. Yövyimme Hotelli Victoriassa.

7.11. 2009

Last November there was an art exhibition opening at Iris school. Iris performed a dance with one of her friends. You could buy art from the exhibition and mother bought three of Iris' paintings. Iris' father and aunt bought some works, too. The money will be spend on fieldtrips. It was a nice afternoon. All the children had done marvellous work!

Viime marraskuussa oli Iriksen koulussa juhlan tuntua. Vietettiin eskari-ykkös-kakkosen taidenäyttelyn avajaisia. Iris esitti ystävänsä kanssa tanssiesityksen avajaisissa. Näyttely oli myyntinäyttely ja äiti, isä ja täti ostivatkin Iriksen töitä. Töistä saaduilla rahoilla kartutetaan luokkaretki- ja leirikoulukassoja. Taidenäyttelyssä vietetty aamupäivä oli mukava. Lapset olivat tehneet mahtavaa työtä!

Iris' and Vilho's buss. The moving home of Vilho. Iris and Vilho had a lot of fun playing this game while mother was photographing.

Iriksen ja Vilhon bussi. Vilhon liikkuva koti. Iriksellä ja Vilholla oli tosi hauskaa tätä leikkiä leikkiessään. Äiti toimi valokuvaajana.

Petshop Disco

Petshops organized a disco. Iris was invited. Yey!

Petshopit järjestivät discon. Iris kutsuttiin mukaan. Jee!

A Christmas book

Iris and mother found an interesting book from the library. Its name is The Call of the Elfs. It is nice to read stories of elfs and christmas on December!

Ps. Did you notice that Iris got short hair now!

Iris ja äiti löysivät kirjastosta kivan tonttukirjan! Joulua kohti mennessä on mukavaa lukea tontuista ja joulusta!

Ps. Iriksellä on nykyään lyhyet hiukset!

Early in December Morning

It was an early morning. It was dark outside and a blue moment was on its way. The house was quiet.Iris woke up before seven o'clock. The tired mother woke up, too. Together they sat next to the livingroom's big table. Iris and mother talked with soft voices, they didn't want to wake up the baby or J. Mom lit up a candle. Iris was doing a school assignment. She loved to do it. It was a nice morning. Just Iris and mother, candlelight and quietness.

Oli aikainen aamu. Ulkona oli pimeää ja sininen hetki teki tuloaan. Talo oli hiljainen. Iris heräsi  jo ennen seitsemää. Väsynyt äiti heräsi myös. Yhdessä he istuivat olohuoneen suuren pöydän vieressä. Iris ja äiti puhuivat pehmeillä äänillä, koska he eivät halunneet herättää pikkuveljeä tai Jiitä. Äiti sytytti kynttilän. Iris teki koulutehtävää. Hänestä sitä oli kiva tehdä. Se oli mukava aamu. Vain Iris ja äiti, kynttilänvalo ja hiljaisuus.

The Return of Christmascalender

The christmas elf has visited Iris' room last night! Elf brought the same christmascalender Iris had last year. The presents are different, of course. Iris woke up at 6.30 a.m. because she was so excited!

Joulutonttu on vieraillut Iriksen huoneessa viime yönä! Mukanaan tonttu toi viime vuodelta tutun pakettikalenterin, jossa nyt oli tietenkin uudet paketit! Iris nousi jo puoli seitsemältä aamulla, koska hän oli niin tohkeissaan!

Mother has a christmascalender too but it is not as exciting as Iris'. Mom doesn't mind. She likes the moomins and the chocolade inside the calender.

Äidilläkin on joulukalenteri. Se ei ole yhtä jännitävä kuin Iriksen kalenteri, mutta äiti ei piittaa. Hän pitää muumeista ja suklaasta.
